All Good things HAVE to come to an end!

Well, explaining to a 3 year old that tomorrow we are going back home to where she has to eat her Mom and Dad's cooking, clean her own room and doing boring things...makes one very tired! Kalebh is ready to go home...Kaileigh really is too...She was asleep before we even got back to the hotel tonight after supper. It was a fun day.

Zoo -- The zoo was fun. Kaileigh had really been looking forward to this as were the rest of us but you know how the zoo is when you are 3...bigger than life. She had fun and we walked all 4 miles of that place...Chad and I were a little disappointed. We have been to a few zoo's and we vote the one in Albuquerque New Mexico the winner. So, we are planning on going back to that one this summer. KK was very said that the zoo here had no polar bears...they are her favorite. So, we hope that MiMi and Popau will go with us!

Bricktown -- all over the place we have seen things about bricktown so we decided to venter down there today after the zoo. It was really a neat place lots of restaurants, pubs (which we just saw from the outside) and other cook things...Water Taxi boat, sonic head quarters, and more. A must see if you are in OKC.

Swimming -- We totalled up the time the kids have spent swimming here and the grand total was 4 hours. They had great fun. The water was warm the whole time and it was a saltwater system...I am not a fan of that!

Out for dinner -- Tonight it was Olive Garden...all was happy.

Starbucks AKA On Star -- We decided that we we grab a cup of coffee after supper and headed to one of the 40 statbucks within 5 min of each other and got a cup. When Kailiegh asked where we were going I told her "starbucks" she said..."I LOVE that place" so as we were pulling up she said "daddy I love on star" Chad said "well honey on star is great we have used it alot on this trip" KK said "Hello that is where we are going"....I think she has On Star and Starbucks mixed up Too funny...the best part is as we are walking into a packed Starbucks she says..."I JUST LOVE ON STAR"!!!! BAHHH!

BED -- Kaileigh was asleep before we got back from On Star...Kalebh was asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow...Chad feel asleep walking into the room...and I am headed there!

Tomorrow -- Kalebh has begged to go to the cheesecake Factory one more time....and he really had to twist my arm so I guess we will eat there tomorrow and then roll I mean drive home!

A Much Needed...Spring Break

Hello from Oklahoma City...Yes, you are right I am in Oklahoma....not some where I have been to much...Okay three times...and all three times for Church camp.

In a nut shell here is what happened. We have been planning for WEEKS to go to Dallas for Spring Break and meet Mom, Dad, Aj and most important Bailey (now you three know how it feels) Anyway, Dad called Friday and said Mom still wasn't feeling good and the doctor needed to run some blood work and other test on her Monday so they weren't going...so in return Aj decided to hold of and that left just us...the Cook's...so we sat down and talked about going to Dallas....staying home (gasp) or going some where different...Well, Mr. Cook is ALWAYS in favor of the different...and I not so much...but after a few HOURS of talking about it...we set off a day earlier to Oklahoma City...we got here and are having a great time.

We got to town and ate at a cool little Italian place called Macaroni Grill then hit the pool then bed....Sunday brought the time change..the mall, shopping, and The Cheesecake Factory...one of mine and Kalebh's favorite places.
Monday we went to the Cowboy Museum and Rodeo Hall of Fame -- Cool Place. The kids had a blast once we convinced little Kaileigh that there weren't any Indians with guns there. Kalebh loved every minute of it and Chad was in Cowboy Heaven. Me...I just ran the camera and was happy to see my crew so happy.

The FUNNIEST thing that happened while at the Cowboy thing...was part of the museum was a "old cowboy town" setting...they had an old Church house set up and well Kalebh got up behind the pulpit and started acting like he was leading the singing...and was singing opera style...what he didn't know is the window were open and everyone in there could hear him...and so then this older man (grandpa) came in and said...keep singing to us...Kalebh was soo so embarrassed and I was laughing...so so hard at him!!! bAHHH!!!

From there we went to the Science Museum of Oklahoma...for sure a must see if you have kids...but plan on spending the WHOLE day there. They had all kinds of stuff...those of you that have been to the Science spectrum in Lubbock this place is kind of like that on steroids....so neat and the kids loved it...

After that we were pooped ate and the kids and Chad hit the pool again...me I just sat in the quite for a few minutes.

The things I have learned from this trip

---Time Change is so much better when you are on vactions...because..who cares about the time.

---I love breakfast if I can go in my P.J.'s and some else cooked it and cleans it all up.

---I LOVE coming back to the hotel...opening the door to our room and finding that someone has washed the towels, made the beds and vacuumed...and I didn't have to ask them to do it at least 500 times!

---Eating out is fun...but can get old really fast!

---My bed is way more comfy.
