Erin Bailey Larid!!!

Well, after many many hours Erin Bailey join our family Feb. 25th at 12:50pm and she weighed 8lbs. 7oz. and is 21in. Aj did great! She is so tired and I feel so sorry for her. I am grateful I had a C-section with both of mine! When I get some good pictures of that little girl I will post them. Aj will see a doctor today about her kidney's and we will go from there.

Now for Cook news....Today is the program...The Big Bad Wolf...and your very own Kalebh Joshua Cook is playing the Wolf...we are all very excited. So I am sure I will have pictures and stories to post later.


Now for a story about Kalebh.....by high demand of my wonderful family :)
Kalebh got home from school the other day and came into the living room and asked Chad....Dad did you work today???? Chad replied...Yes....Kalebh then asked....did you work hard today....Chad said....well I got alot done. Why are you asking so many questions....and Kalebh said....well, I don't think you worked today because when I left for school my D.S. (which is a game) was charged and now it isn't......SO I know you stayed home from work today and played!!!! Catch ya!!!
Oh me and Chad get some of the biggest laughs out of that kid!

FIRE!!!!

Okay, around here we don't take fire lightly after the school fire! But, yesterday my sweet husband fixed lunch for me and my good friend Haley...it was so yummy. He also offered to make some extra cookies in a pizza pan for youth....so later he emails me at work to tell me the cookies had over flowed in the oven and made a mess but he got it all cleaned up...and he did! But, after youth last night Kalebh wanted a pizza so I put one in the oven and sat down for the first time all day. So....Kalebh about 5 min. later tells me the pizza's are burning....I replied they can't be I just put them in....he said...well something is on fire...and he was kind of right.....smoke was billowing out of my oven and filing the house....well a little cookie dough got left in the oven and well...you can gather the rest....as I was opening all the doors and shuting doors to our bedrooms...Kalebh screams.....DON'T YOU THINK SOMEONE SHOULD CALL 911!!! Too funny that kid!

Today was a good and bad day...as a parent you learn many things the hard way and learning things though our children is always hard....so I pray for all of us that have children in school that the Lord would bless each of us with teacher that love our children and try to fine the best in each of their students. I pray that the Lord gives each teacher the words that the students in their class need to have each day....I also pray for each of us that our teachers that we would love other kids the way we want our kids to be loved and try to find the best in each student no matter how hard you have to look :)

Worshiping the toilet

Okay...so everyone in the family has been sick...execpt one of us...and that some ones name starts with a K-----atie.....but, she isn't talking about it....
Anyway it hasn't been a good few days. Kalebh came home from school Friday sick. Then Kaileigh got sick in the middle of the night...and then Chad followed Monday morning....I then had to take Kaileigh to the doctor yesterday for ear infections....so....whoever said I live the easy life....was wrong...this week!!!
Yesterday we were out of school and as Kalebh walked by Chad and Chad was covered up with one of Kalebh's blankets...he looked at his dad and said....ummm dad you can keep my blanket I don't need it back! Poor Kalebh he didn't want any part of being sick.

On a better note Aj is going to have her baby.....SOON! I cannot wait! Little Bailey will be here some time between Sunday and Wednesday...They will be putting her in the hospital on Sunday so....yea....bring on the baby!!!

Our Girls basketball team has made it to the playoffs so we will be watching them this weekend and I love BB so yea!

Other than that we are staying home and trying to get everyone all rested and well for spring break in 3 weeks when we will head to DP to see the baby....


Hope all is well with everyone and I was going to take a picture of our toilet and use that to get attention but I decided against it! :)

I LOVE MY LIFE!

Hello to all....I was informed by my wonderful father that I needed to update my blog...seeing that I just got home from a 6 day trip to see my sister I am doing that now.
Kaileigh and I went to Deer Park on Wednesday and had a great time. It was so wonderful to see all my friends and family...I have decided that I just love my life. I have been so blessed with great friends in lot of different parts of the world. It was so fun to see everyone. Most of my friends now have kids and it was great to get to meet them as well. I will include a few pictures of my sister at her shower and then a few others.
Kaileigh was so good on the trip I really couldn't have asked her to be any better. She had fun and really started talking while we were gone. She is missing her bob bob..as she called Bobby and that dooogie as she called it.
Aj went in the hospital yesterday afternoon and is feeling better and back at home. The doctor told her they will put her in the hospital on Feb. 23rd and then at 5am on the 24th we will have (okay she will have) Erin Bailey Laird...we can't wait!!!!
Mom and I got the baby room all done and thing put away for the most part she need a few things that they will have to go and get but they are ready for that baby...as I am!!!
On Saturday I got to have lunch with some of my best friends and friends I haven't seen in a while it was so much fun just getting to visit and laugh.
I am looking forward to another trip down there soon and then maybe a shopping trip too!
Kalebh was so glad to see me. I told Chad last night I think Kalebh kissed me more last night than he has all year...sweet boy. He did come home with a big annoucnment...he got the part of the big bad wolf in the school program and he said....I sure hope I don't get stage sick...I said...yeah me too!
Well, I will try and be better about updates now that I am home for a few days. Love to you all and thanks for being the people that make me love my life that God has blessed me with.
