Family...for a 5 year old

Today...Kalebh, Chad, Kaileigh and I were all coming home from Wednesday night youth. When Kalebh was asked what is a family he answered " aw just people that live in a house together." So...I just wonder is that all it is? Is being a family just people that live in a house together? The more I have thought about it tonight the more I wonder as much as we go and do for the youth, people in our church and ourselves do we over look teaching Kalebh and Kaileigh that there is more to being a family. God has blessed me with these two children that are growing up so fast that I am not sure I am worthy of the job. Some days I am so tired for just getting things done around the house, cooking, cleaning, going to the store that I am forget there is more to life. Kaileigh is turning one on Friday and I feel like I sure don't have much to show for the last year. We would wake up, go to work and send her to Juanita's. Now that we are home for the summer when she sees Juan. she gets so excited and yesterday while at Juan. and Charlies they said "she is so happy because she is home." Oh I hope that isn't what she sees. So my goal for the next week is to worry less about the mess and to play more, sing more, dance more and talk more...with my two growing blessings!
